Open three years, Central Park refuses to chase the Colorado crowd, instead carving their own unique identity in a 100 year old building featuring exposed brick walls and high rafter ceilings on the corner of  Fair Oaks and Orange.

Central Park serves breakfast 7 days a week with a notable menu that includes Belgian Waffles, Omelettes, Cheese Blintzes and Smoked Salmon Platters. From the onset of the initial vision for Westgate, De Lacey Commons was anticipated as one of the critical public spaces around which a community could be built. In contrast to the Old Pasadena neighborhood, and the urban qualities of the proposed development, De Lacey Commons was seen as the “urban green” wherein residents and the public alike would co-mingle.

The thought at De Lacey Commons was to creating a contrast with the urban context, the contemporary architecture, and create a soft, playful, fun environment. The theme of the artwork, the shapes and images, the materials and colors used, as well as the textures emphasize that this is an “OASIS” in the architectural environment. MORE…
